My gear

Gear isn't everything they say and normally this is true but sports photography in my opinion is the only type of photography where gear does matter. To capture the most interesting and exciting sports moments you for instance (sometimes) need 14 frames per second, a fast and reliable autofocus, camera with a large buffer and lenses that produce sharp images. And yes unfortunately this gear isn't cheap.

Unfortunately I am a bit of a gear freak. If I had the money I proberly owned so much camera's, lenses and other stuff I think I would need a walk-in closet to store it.

The camera I mostly use is the Canon 1Dx. This baby has never let me down in all these years. It's fast, reliable, solid as a rock and with features every sports photographer needs. If I can give you one advice about camera's it would be: 'Learn how to use it, know what capabilities it has and know when to use them (or not).
